In celebration of the 150th year of Italian unification, Maserati is introducing the GranTurismo S Limited Edition at the 2011 Bologna Motor Show. The Granturismo S Limited Edition has an exclusive limited edition of 12 cars meant for the Italian market. It comes with unique trim levels and contents. An exclusive matt Sebring Blue paint is used on the exterior that emphasizes its elegant lines but also highlights its sportiness. To put the focus on these features, Maserati used carbon on the front spoilers, side mirrors, door handles and rear spoiler.
Its brake calipers use hand-polished aluminum and featured alongside a set of 20-inch rims. Its side skirts have a matt black paint, complementing the headlights, to make the car appear more aggressive. Its interior uses a combination of sport and elegance that’s common to the MC Stradale version. The instruments as well as the controls on the dashboard and central tunnel are framed by some carbon finishes.
At the base of the central console is where we can find the commemorative Centocinquantenario (150th Anniversary) Italian Unification plate that carries the official logo. The model’s exclusivity is indicated as well with a figure on this plate that shows how many units were produced.
