2011 Ford Explorer to make official debut on Facebook

Ford announced today that it officially unveil its 2011 Explorer SUV on Facebook… yes, instead of an auto show the American manufacturer has chosen Facebook, because, according to Scott Monty, Ford’s head of social media “We live in a 140-character society. When we have people’s attention, we want to make sure it sticks.” Regarding the launch date of the new car, Ford didn’t announce it, just said that the vehicle will be revealed in July. Next week, Ford will start its teaser campaign for the Explorer, so stay tuned.
