2011 Ford Focus development mule spied

The next-generation Ford Focus will be on sale in 2011 but before that, let's take a look at its development mule. The car is still pretty much the current Focus but from looking at this mule, it's clear that the focus is on the front end, specifically the disguised front bumper and grille both of which are new parts.
Many are already coming up with conclusions that this could signal a possible design direction for the new car.
It is also becoming apparent that the engineers are assessing under-bonnet cooling as a result of a new engine position and front-end layout.
The next Focus takes its overall styling direction from the Ford Iosis Max concept car, which was unveiled in Geneva this year as a preview for both the next C-Max and Focus.
