2011 Geneva Motor Show: Rolls-Royce 102EX is the definition of electrified luxury

As expected, Rolls-Royce unveiled today at the Geneva Motor Show the 102EX Concept, a.k.a. a full-electric version of the Phantom flagship sedan. Although there are no details about the car, the British manufacturer states that the 102EX was created in order to gather a bank of owner research in 2011 and to see if the Rolls-Royce customers would like to see such a car in their garage. Rolls-Royce says that the 102EX will be tested worldwide, which means we will see this car in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and North America.
The car will be the subject of several test drives and Rolls-Royce hopes that it will gather enough feedback in order to take a decision regarding a possible production version. All the comments regarding the 102EX will be collected via a web portal named electricluxury.com that will also chart the car’s progress on tour throughout the year.
Visitors from the Geneva Motor Show will also see at firm’s booth two Ghost models. For those who don’t know the Rolls-Royce Ghost was introduced back in 20009 and since then it has received universal plaudits for its impressive driving characteristics, luxurious interior and unsurpassed ride comfort.
