Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket

The Street and Racing Technology (SRT) team of Chrysler Group has revealed an exclusive production run of the special edition 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392 Yellow Jacket models. These special edition models feature Stinger Yellow interior and exterior appointments. They are based on the 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT8 392. The Challenger SRT8 Yellow Jacket comes in a Stinger Yellow body color and black grille surround in order to complement the regular black body-side stripes that emphasize the new Yellow Jacket logo on the back fender.

Adding to the unique performance appeal to the vehicles are the new 20 x 9-inch, five-spoke cast-aluminum wheels with black painted pockets. In the inside, the standard leather seats are accented with an exclusive Stinger Yellow band with silver accent stitching and embroidered Yellow Jacket logo. On the driver’s seat, a full adjustable lumbar position with seatback tilt, memory and an easy-to-reach release handle are available.

Meanwhile, the front-passenger seat adds tilt and slide with memory, making it more convenient for passengers to get in and out of the back seat. The original Dodge "Yellow Jacket" show automobile, which evolved from the 1970 Challenger, was featured at various car show exhibits since late 1969. Painted with pearlescent Honey Gold, the roadster is powered by the 426-cubic inch HEMI V-8. It also offers a range of popular Dodge “Scat Pack” performance features like a unique front spoiler, heavy-duty suspension and brakes, manual transmission and wider tires. It also comes with the Rallye instrument cluster and shaker hood.
