2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee
The 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee, which was developed for the core performance fans, was launched at the 2011 Los Angeles Auto Show. The model's exterior paint comes in either Pitch Black or Stinger Yellow with special Super Bee graphics. It reflects a specially designed extroverted and modern interpretation of the renowned Super Bee performance developed for those who love a fast ride. Ralph Gilles, President and CEO for SRT and Motorsports, commented that the 2012 Dodge Charger SRT8 Super Bee is "a salute to the fun-loving past" of the company's muscle vehicles powered by the famous 392 HEMI V-8 in a back-to-basics performance machine.
Inside, the vehicle has a race-inspired design, featuring the SRT exclusive three-spoke contoured performance steering wheel, silver accent stitching and embroidered Super Bee logos the front seat headrests, and exclusive Z-stripe cloth performance seats with amped silver and yellow striping in the front and back.
Moreover, the instrument panel showcases the Charger Super Bee logo on a unique dash plaque. Newly customized software includes the look of the Super Bee logo in the center instrument panel’s Electronic Vehicle Information Center at vehicle start up. Externally, the Charger Super Bee reveals a unique SRT badge on the new split crosshair grille in Gloss Black finish. The badge has a 3-D helmeted bee mascot. In addition, satin black hood graphics reflect the black decklid stripes with a solid wide center line bordered by solid dual tracer lines on the Stinger Yellow model. On the other hand, the Pitch Black model features charcoal gray graphics on the decklid and hood. Standard decklid spoilers on the back are matte black on the Stinger Yellow model, while a matching body color is on the Pitch Black model.
