2011 Maserati GranTurismo S Automatic gets new new Sport Pack

Maserati GB introduces to the market its new Sport Pack for GranTurismo S Automatic, which is the company’s bestselling model in the UK. The pack further improves the GranTurismo S Automatic to provide a performance-oriented experience while keeping the convenience and ease of the ZF automatic transmission. In addition, it features the super-fast MC Auto Shift software as well as a revised exhaust system which keeps its bypass valves fully open in Sport mode in order to give out an even richer sound.
It also boasts of a wide range of sports styling features including black look headlights, black mesh side grilles, a stylish black grille which features the Maserati Trident logo with red accents, and body colored side skirts and front winglets. Moreover, the pack features an integrated oval exhaust pipes and rear boot lid spoiler, coupled with Grigio Mercury Neptune-design alloy wheels for a sportier appeal.
The GranTurismo S Automatic, which is equipped with dual-cast brake discs as standard, boasts of a 4.7-litre V8 which produces 440 HP (323kW) at 7000 rpm, with a maximum torque of 490Nm at 4750 rpm. Furthermore, it sprints from 0 to 100km/h (0 to 62mph) in 5 seconds flat, with a top speed of 183 mph. Price for the Sport pack is pegged at £3,840, bringing the price of a GranTurismo S Automatic equipped with this pack to £92,480 on the road, including 3 years/unlimited mileage warranty.
