What Carlsson has created based on the Mercedes Benz S600-Class L is a superb vehicle that is barely legal to drive on the road. The tuner installed a sporty front spoiler lip and a front custom bumper that produces added downforce. The regular Mercedes-Benz S600-Klasse L is powered by a natural 12-cylinder biturbo engine that delivers 517hp (380kW) but with Carlsson’s modifications, it now has an output of 600hp (441kW). The car had to be restrained and so its torque was electronically limited at 1024 Nm.
Its power was enhanced due to the optimized engine management system that complements the Carlsson sports filter and exhaust system. The S600-Class L can hit a top speed of 200 mph (320km/h) and can sprint from zero to 100km/h in 4.3 seconds.
The improved S-Class from Carlsson has been fitted with C-Tronic suspension, a system that enables the car to respond in milliseconds to weather conditions as well as driving style. Mercedes said that the system can adjust the vehicle parameters by as much as 30-millimeters continuously, guaranteeing a flawless response when turning at high speeds, offering utmost comfort at the same time. Customers can customize the cockpit according to their specific preferences. This package, which costs about EUR5290, includes upgrades to the leather for the two front seats, rear seat head, and restraints on an all four doors.
