At the New York Auto Show, one of the most desired vehicles is the Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Coupe, which had its North American debut. This is a definite contender in the battle for supremacy of the two-doors. It is powered by a 6.3-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine that delivers 457 hp and a maximum torque of 442 lb-ft (600 Nm). This unit is coupled with the AMG SPEEDSHIFT MCT 7-speed automatic gearbox.

This powerplant enables the car to accelerate from zero to 62 mph in 4.5 seconds and continue on to reach an electronically limited top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h). But if you want even more power, you can opt for the AMG Power Package that raises its output to 487 hp and makes the car accelerate quicker by 0.1 second.

"In the shape of the new C 63 AMG coupé, Mercedes-AMG presents an autonomous, high-performance car that appeals to all the senses. Distinctive design is combined with a powerful drive package and dynamic handling. The new coupé joins the successful C-Class AMG family, which includes the classic saloon as well as the practical estate model. The C 63 AMG coupé also enhances the AMG family of coupés: in addition to the CLS 63 AMG and the CL 63 AMG, Mercedes-AMG GmbH is now able to offer another dream car featuring a high-performance eight-cylinder engine." said the press release.
