Pricing information for the 2011 Nissan GT-R has just been revealed. Prices start at $84,060 for the latest model, which features several enhancements and a simplified model lineup. The Nissan GT-R model has held the reputation of being an affordable car that costs a lot to maintain. It can't be modified much but it does have an excellent all-wheel drive performance and technological prowess that can't be denied. Nissan is offering three options and one accessory for the 2011 model.
The Cold Weather Package comes at no charge while the special Super Silver paint package costs $3,000 and the carpeted GT-R logo floor mats costs an extra $280. An Ultra-High Performance Tire Package with Dunlop run-flat tires is also available at no extra charge. The GT-R Premium is left as the only available 2011 model, with the elimination of the previous GT-R base model.
Modifications made to the model include the wheel center caps being slightly darkened, placing double clear coat on the front and rear fascias and adding rear cooling ducts to improve cooling performance around the rear floor area. Nissan retuned the suspension and strengthened the rear bushing to improve ride comfort. Furthermore, the automatic headlights and speed-sensitive windshield wipers are now offered as standard, along with a USB iPod interface, Bluetooth audio streaming, "near-black" alloy wheels, and XM weather and traffic capability.
