Besides the 2011 Maxima which was priced from $30,810 (Maxima 3.2 S CVT), Nissan also announced today that the pricing for the 2011 Sentra will start at $15,520, for the Sentra 2.0 6MT model. For the 2011MY the popular compact sedan continues with a realignment of option package equipment, in order to help buyers to attain just the right level of features to match their needs and budgets.

Besides the based model, Sentra will be available in six versions: Sentra 2.0 (6MT $15,530; 2.0 CVT ($16,700), 2.0 S ($17,450), 2.0 SR ($17,450), 2.0 SL ($18,850), the performance-oriented Sentra SE-R ($19,580) and SE-R Spec V ($20,080). Nissan Sentra 2.0 models will be powered by the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine delivering 140 hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission or fuel-efficient Nissan Xtronic CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission).

The Sentra SE-R will carry the 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder with Xtronic CVT delivering 177 hp while the SE-R Spec V offers a potent 200-horsepower 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder and a 6-speed manual transmission. Also, the SE-R and SE-R Spec V models will include sporty exterior and interior designs, but also a range of amenities ranging from the luxury of heated leather-appointed seating to the Nissan's Intelligent Key keyless entry system. Further changes in the Sentra lineup include a SE-R stylish rear spoiler for the 2.0 CVT, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models but also Anti-lock 2.0 CVT, 2.0 S and 2.0 SL models, Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC) and Traction Control System (TCS).
