2011 Nissan X-Trail Facelift
Nissan revealed today the 2011 X-Trail Facelift, the latest-generation of its popular crossover featuring a redesigned front grille, front bumper and headlights as well as new LED combination taillights. Also, the new model will offer a choice of seven exterior colors, including Himalayan Khaki (Metallic) and Steel Blue (Metallic), as well as redesigned 17-inch aluminum wheels wrapped in P225/60R17 tires. Inside, we find the centered “Vehicle Information Display” capable to indicate with a drive computer function to indicate fuel consumption, cruising range, etc., a maintenance function to show the time to change engine oil and tires, and a warning information function to display various warnings.
And this is not all as the interior offers larger size meters, a new color for the interior pillar from gray to the same color as the instrument panel as well as a new cross seat material which was changed from space fabric to suede-like tricot.
Further improvements include the new Advanced Hill Descent Control system (with a speed-setting function) for 4WD models, which enables the driver to set his or her desired driving speed arbitrarily within the range from 4km/h to 15km/h, a glove compartment with heat-retention and refrigerator functions, new three-point seatbelt and a headrest installed at the center of the rear seat as standard equipment as well as an intelligent key system. The 2011 Nissan X-Trail Facelift also brings the 6-speed automatic transmission model to the Clean Diesel “X-TRAIL 20GT”. The X-TRAIL “20GT” carries a 2-liter “M9R” Clean Diesel engine that generates the almost the same level of torque of a 3.5-liter V6 gasoline engine. The 2011 Nissan X-Trail Facelift pricing starts from 2,239,650 yen ($25,325) to 3,139,500 yen ($35,500), including consumption tax.
