Range Rover Autobiography Ultimate

With the arrival of Range Rover’s new model, the Autobiography Ultimate Edition, the six-figure price barrier will finally be broken as it is priced at about £130,000. The Ultimate will be introduced at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. Only 500 units will be built and these will be offered for 20 markets, with each unit being produced to individual order. The vehicle will be powered by either a 4.4-litre V8 diesel or a 5.0-litre Supercharged V8.

The rear cabin has been completely revamped by the designers, installing individual back seats. And it also boasts a new centre console design, which is made of milled aluminum, leather and wood veneers. The console also has a drinks chiller and laptop table. Apple iPads can be accommodated at the modified backs of the front seats. The rear load space also receives a yacht-style teak floor with aluminum and leather detailing. For seating, semi-aniline leather has been used and on the door tops, new ‘Kalahari’ wood veneers are featured. The car rides in unique 20in alloy wheels.

"The all-V8 engine line-up includes the superb new 4.4 litre LR-TDV8 Diesel engine with a new eight-speed transmission incorporating Drive Select with Paddle Shift as standard. This LR-TDV8 combines superior power with 313PS, 700Nm torque whilst delivering even lower fuel consumption and 14% less CO2 emissions than its predecessor in line with the stringent EU5 emissions standards. The combined cycle fuel consumption of the new LR-TDV8 4.4-litre is just 30.1mpg, making this the first Range Rover ever to better 30mpg." stated the press release.
