2011 Renault Latitude introduced at the Moscow Motor Show

Renault has big plans for the Russian market. the 2011 Renault Latitude was introduced at the Moscow International Motor Show. The French manufacturer will also launch several new models to the Russian market such as Duster, the new automatic Logan, Sandero and Sandero Stepway as well as Fluence sedan and Megane hatchback. The Latitude will be available in Russia with a choice of two petrol and two diesel units. The petrol units include a 2.5-litre V6 engine that's coupled with a six-speed automatic gearbox, generating 177 hp and 233 Nm of torque. Fuel consumption for this unit is at 9.7l/100km (24.2mpg).
The other petrol offering is a 2.0-litre unit that uses a CVT and has an output of 139 HP and 191 Nm of torque. This unit's fuel consumption is at 8.3l/100km (28.3mpg). Diesel options include a 2.0-litre dCi that produces 175 hp or a 3.5-litre dCi V6 that delivers 240 hp. The interior has features that include a triple-zone automatic climate control system, a dual-mode air ionizer, as well as a high-end on-board technical equipment. There are two color options: a dark gray interior with dark leather or a dark beige interior with beige leather. Local production will start from 2010-2011. The Renault Latitude will be first sold in Morocco and Algeria in September 2010. It will next be offered in Russia, Ukraine and Africa. Pricing is expected to be revealed shortly before the market launch. The European version of the Latitude will be displayed at the Paris Motor Show.
