2011 Roush 5XR Mustang

The tuning specialists at ROUSH have worked their magic on the 2011 5XR Mustang and have raised its output to no less than 525hp and 630 Nm of torque. ROUSH fitted the muscle car with the factory-installed ROUSH charger. ROUSH will only build 150 units of the 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang, with each getting a 3-year/36,000 mile warranty on the powertrain and ROUSH components. ROUSH is offering the units in coupe and convertible versions and only with a six-speed manual transmission. The tuner gave the car a set of ROUSH 20-inch chrome rims with high-performance Cooper RS3 tires.

Other features include a ROUSH exhaust with square tips, a custom body kit, a ROUSH front fascia with driving lamps, front chin splitter, side rocker splitters, rear valance and three-piece decklid spoiler. The tuning package also offers exclusive 2011 ROUSH 5XR Mustang graphics and badging. Jack Roush, chairman of ROUSH Enterprises, said that he considers the Ford 5.0-liter to be a “great platform,” which has a stock output of 412hp but with the ROUSHcharger, has been given 113hp more.

He further described the 2011 ROUSH 5XR to be a vehicle that “runs fast, sounds great, and is another amazing addition to the ROUSH Mustang heritage.” Each buyer will receive a letter of authenticity, personally signed by Jack Roush. Each package carries a suggested retail price of $15,390 aside from the cost of the base Mustang chassis.
