2011 Scion xD Release Series 3.0: official details, photos, specs and price

2011 Scion xD Release Series 3.0
Scion announced today that the first limited-production vehicle of the 2011 xD Release Series 3.0 (xD RS 3.0) will carry a price tag of $16,905 for the model fitted with a manual transmission, while the version using an automatic transmission will be priced from $17,705. These prices don’t include the $720 delivery, processing and handling (DPH) fee. DPH fee for vehicles distributed by Southeast Toyota (SET) and Gulf States Toyota (GST) may vary.
According to Scion, only 1,500 units of the xD RS 3.0 will be built and each will be offered with a unique, individually numbered stainless-steel badge. Furthermore, the limited Edition 2011 xD Release Series 3.0 features a four-piece body kit including front and rear lower lips along with side skirts.
Also, a special color dubbed xPRESSO will be offered on this version (the color is not available on any other Scion model). The body kit adds assertive styling and is exclusive to the xD RS 3.0. The design of the car is completed by the B-pillar appliqués that are constructed from genuine carbon fiber material and feature the xD RS logo.
