2011 SEMA Show: Mazda Turbo2 brings more Zoom-Zoom into a little car

Mazda has introduced the Turbo2 today at the 2011 SEMA Show, which offers an even better performance than the Mazda2 presented to the North American market last year. Mazda2 was known as Zoom-Zoom Concentrated but the Turbo2 certainly deserves its tag as Zoom-Zoom Concentrated, Extra Strength. The powerful and practical Turbo2 is powered by a MAZDASPEED3 MZR 2.3-liter Direct Injection Spark Ignition (DISI) turbo engine. When the engine is started, it produces a growling sound that pulsates through the cockpit and on to the feet. The Turbo2 is a five-passenger subcompact that has a flexible storage and seating capacity.
The Turbo2 is often described as the spunky and sporty little Mazda. It comes with an HR coil over suspension kit, Corksport sway bars and customized Brembo front brakes with 13-inch ventilated as well as slotted rotors. The rear brakes are unchanged and are still the stock parts from Mazda.
It is equipped with black and shiny 17-inch OZ Racing wheels that are wrapped in Yokohama ADVAN Neova 215/40R17 performance tires. A Brilliant Black finish is used on the vibrant Sonic White tri-coat exterior. It’s also seen on the lower panels, wheel arches, side skirts and lower front fascia. The Turbo2’s compact and sleek structure is emphasized with the use of one-of-a-kind bright green and neon yellow graphics and trim pieces. Its exterior has a pleasant and vibrant theme that mirrors that of the interior, which feature Katzin black leather seats that have Barracuda Yellow perforated leather inserts and Sunrise Yellow seat piping. Star West made the customized floor mats and its dash gets an AiM Pista MXL digital racing performance and data acquisition display.
