2011 SEMA Show: Ram 392 Quick Silver is drop dead beautiful

The Ram 392 Quick Silver that has recently been introduced at the 2011 SEMA Show is based on a 2011 Ram R/T. It is powered by a 470hp, 392 HEMI V-8 that came from the SRT lineup. This was coupled to the R/T’s 4.10 gear set and a high-stall converter. To boost the performance, the Ram 392 has been given a cold-air intake kit and headers that come with an electronic exhaust cutout to achieve optimal power and sound when on the track. But on typical days on the road, the HEMI rumble is intensified with the use of a cat-back dual exhaust system. Instead of discs and calipers, the Ram 392 has a Brembo big brake kit that has 15-inch vented rotors and bright silver six-piston calipers in the front and rear.
These enhance the braking performance. The body, except its gloss black roof, has been coated with a three-stage bright silver finish. Meanwhile, anodized red paint is used on the wheels, grille inserts, mirrors and some of its interior trim parts. The new Dodge Charger SRT8 has been one of the inspirations for the Mopar Underground, reverse deep-cowl aluminum hood design with functional heat extractors. All of its exterior lighting is covered with smoked lenses. A custom suspension kit was used to lower the Ram 392 Quick Silver by 2 inches.
The vehicle features a “slammed” appearance that’s made more obvious by a Mopar body kit that consists of sill and box pieces and finished up with a chin spoiler. Mopar Underground fitted it with 22-inch wheels covered in 275/45R22 tires up front and 305/40R22 tires in the rear. The air is redirected by a Mopar hard tonneau cover with a unique integrated spoiler in order to achieve added down force during high speeds. Its paint is protected by Mopar’s Bed Rug. Inside, there are high-bolster SRT seats that use Katzkin leather with red stitching and accents in order to go with the steering wheel, instrument panel and Laramie Longhorn inspired leather shift knob, door panels and center console trim.
