2011 Smart ForTwo Nightorange Edition
Daimler’s smart has not had a new model in the past few years but to keep consumers interested in its small car, it has released numerous special editions. For 2011, Daimler will introduce a new edition: the smart fortwo nightorange. Just as with the other special editions that smart has released, the performance of the car is unchanged. It is powered by the same 1l and 0.8l 3 cylinder units with 3 power ratings: 71 hp petrol, 84 hp petrol, 54 hp diesel. But compared to the aging model, this car offers quite a bit more color.
It features an exclusive orange metallic finish combined with a black tridion safety cell and black 3-double-spoke alloy wheels. It has also received black painted headlamp trims, black mirror caps and nightorange logos in the mirror triangles. The interior has the same theme.
It has been fitted with black seats (leather and fabric) with an orange sport stripe in the middle, pearl black instrument trims, black door trim and black instrument panel nappa leather 3-spoke sports steering wheel. The new special edition will be available for the coupe and the cabrio versions. Deliveries will begin in February but orders can already be placed. Prices range from EUR13,995 for the 71 hp petrol mhd version to EUR18,345 for the 54 hp cdi diesel with diesel particulate filter cabrio version.
