2011 Suzuki Swift DDiS

Suzuki’s Swift range will soon have the low emissions 1.3-litre DDiS model. Starting June 1, the Swift DDiS will be available in all 148 Suzuki dealerships. It is powered by a new 75PS 1.3-litre engine that has an emissions level of 109g/km and a combined fuel consumption of 67.3mpg. It’s estimated to have a driving range of over 500 miles. The five-door version of the new Swift DDiS with SZ3 grade is priced at £12,890. It is equipped with the following as standard: seven airbags, 16 inch alloy wheels, air conditioning USB port, and heated electric door mirrors.

Suzuki improved the Euro 5 emissions turbo charged engine to be smoother and more responsive, with a maximum torque of 190Nm from 1,750rpm. As a result, the car can sprint from zero to 62mph in 12.7 seconds. Fuel efficiency is boosted by 8% and its tailpipe emissions level is lower by 9% when compared to the 1.3-litre diesel engine that powered the previous Swift. The Swift DDiS has emissions of 109g/km, which means that it currently costs only £20 in yearly VED charges.

The Suzuki Swift has modest dimensions, improved handling, safety, and performance but at the same time, it offers fun driving while still being environmentally friendly. The Swift range, which was launched last September, consists of the Dual VVT 1.2-litre petrol engine that has a starting price of £10,210 for the SZ2 three-door. It can go as high as £13,525 for the SZ4 five-door with automatic transmission. The petrol engine with manual transmission has emissions of 116g/km, which means that it is one of the cleanest compact superminis currently available in the market.
