Two models from the Alpina brand made their worldwide debut at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show: the Alpina B3 GT3 and the Alpina B6 BiTurbo Coupe. The Alpina B6 BiTurbo Coupe is based on the 2012 BMW 6-Series, on the 650i more exactly. What’s so remarkable about it is that the 4.4-liter aluminum V8 of the 650i was given a boost from 407hp to 540hp, due to a new exhaust from Akrapovic and several other tech upgrades. In addition, the B6 is equipped with BMW’s SWITCH-TRONIC 8-speed Sport Automatic, which enables the vehicle to get to 100 km/h in just 4.4 seconds. It is also capable of reaching a top speed of 320 km/h (198 mph). An aero body kit has been installed on the body of the Alpina B6 BiTurbo. It also gets a set of 20-inch multi-spoke wheels.
