These are the first official photos of Toyota's re-designed 2011 RAV4. The facelifted car will be introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March. With these images, it is now confirmed that Toyota has completely revised the front end, with new headlights, front grille, a new hood and a new front bumper with integrated fog lights. The RAV4 boasts a new design, but it appears to have kept its old proportions. Details about the engines have yet to be divulged however, but it's expected that there won't be any major changes there. This latest RAV4 is crucial to Toyota, which has issued extensive recalls due to the risks associated with a faulty accelerator pedal and problems with braking. Aside from these, Toyota has also announced a recall of Tacoma trucks in the United States. The front shaft in about 8,000 vehicles may include a component that contains cracks that developed during the manufacturing process. These cracks could eventually lead to the separation of the drive shaft at the joint portion. Also check the images with the new Toyota Vanguard a.k.a. Toyota Rav4 in Japan!
