Citroën's people carriers Dispatch Combi and Berlingo Multispace have received new equipment and styling upgrades. These are two of the most practical and versatile models of Citroën and they’re set to start selling on April 2. The two models are now enhanced to be more economically and aesthetically attractive to customers, bringing the models in line with the modern-day Citroën range.
More than 1.4 million examples of Berlingo Multispace have been sold all over the world since it was launched in 1996.
Currently, the Berlingo Multispace is still one of the leaders for practicality in the family car segment. With the upgrades to styling, the new Berlingo Multispace now has a wider, more defined grille, a new headlight arrangement and a new chevron badge. The indicators are now to the main light units' side and are emphasized by blue segments for an even stronger appeal.
The grille's lower part can be fitted with static cornering lights combined with the fog lights. In addition, the LEDs offer an eye-catching daytime lighting signature. The side mirrors have also been upgraded into a more aerodynamic design, which helps lower fuel consumption and carbon dioxide emissions.
Furthermore, new 'Airflow' wheel embellishers are available to help boost CO2 and fuel efficiency. A 'Black Pack' is available, and includes customized Onyx Black trim on the top of the front bumper, side rubbing strips, side mirrors as well as back number plate molding. Interior materials and colors have also been refurbished in all levels of trim for a more modern atmosphere.
The new Berlingo Multispace also comes with two new body colors -- Belle Ile Blue and Nocciola. It is available with a variety of efficient engines and gearbox options such as Citroën's e-HDi micro-hybrid powertrain with Stop & Start and a six-speed automated manual gearbox - e-HDi 90 Airdream EGS6 variants provide CO2 emissions of only 125g/km. On the five-seat variants, the HDi 90 and HDi 75 models now provide lower emissions, specifically from 139g/km to 135g/km, thanks partly to the aerodynamic upgrades. The HDi 110 engine is updated to HDi 115, delivering extra performance.
