2012 Fiat 500 priced from $15,500 in the United States

If you’ve been meaning to purchase a 2012 Fiat 500 subcompact when it starts selling in January, you would want the chance to configure your car now at Fiat’s new customer Web site: http://www.fiatusa.com The b.ase model has a starting price of $15,500 for the base model while the range-topping model sells from $19,500 (excluding destination charges). At the Los Angeles auto show, Laura Soave, CEO of Fiat in North America, said that Fiat will offer a four-year or 50,000-mile warranty and roadside assistance plan and a three-year or 36,000-mile complimentary maintenance program. Ford recently announced the list of dealership that will sell the 500. The list included 135 dealerships. Proposals are being reviewed by Fiat to determine which dealers will fill an additional 35 points.
Fiat’s new advertising campaign has the tagline: “Life is Best When Driven.” Fiat's ad agency is Impatto, a Detroit area boutique agency. After the 500 was introduced to the press, Sergio Marchionne, CEO of Fiat and Chrysler, said that the vehicle is expected to appeal to a wide variety of customers. The 500, which was launched in Europe in 2007, has a modern version that will designed to suit American tastes.
Soave said that the suspension will be retuned and it will be equipped with a more robust heating and air conditioning system that suits the “harsher” American climates. The US version of the 500 has a larger gasoline tank with 10.5 gallons than its European variant with 9.25 gallons. Fiat's MultiAir engine technology, which boosts power and improves fuel economy by 10%, is also found on the American version. Notably, the European Fiat 500 does not have MultiAir. Customers can choose either a six-speed automatic transmission or a five-speed manual.
