Riding on the “Hottest Sports Compact Car” award by the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) that Fiat 500 won in November 2011, the new Fiat 500 “Stinger” combined two Mopar stage kits that deliver bold styling features and limited high-performance parts from the Mopar catalog. The Fiat 500 Stinger features a Giallo (yellow) exterior combined with blackened exterior and interior appointments intended to intensify the car’s athletic Italian styling.
The Stage 1 kit includes giving the hatchback athletic and purposeful styling enhancements. The Fiat 500 Stinger’s signature “whiskers and logo” face and circular projector headlamps are finished in Black Chrome. The Giallo bodyside were accented by exterior door handles and mirror caps with Black Chrome finish. The Stinger’s 17”x7” Abarth Hyper Black aluminum wheels were fitted with 205/40 R 17 performance tires, giving it a menacing stance. The car’s serious look was amplified by tinted head and tail lamps and license-plate brow; Mopar’s vinyl bodyside; and roof graphics in black checker. At the inside, the Fiat 500 Stinger is still laden with Giallo-black combo and with Mopar’s Katzkin leather seats. The Fiat 500 Stinger’s feature Alcantara seat centers in between Giallo black leather bolsters and Giallo accent stitching.
The Stage 2 involves giving the Stinger some track-tested performance upgrades. The Stage 2 kit ensures the Stinger is blessed with improved power and braking capabilities that match its aggressive looks. The Fiat 500 Stinger is fitted with Mopar’s cold-air intake and free-flowing cat-back exhaust to ensure that its 1.4-liter 16-valve MultiAir engine would provide even more power and torque.
