Then, we find the 2.5-litre Ford Duratec I4 petrol engine with more power at 122 kW (166 PS). This engine can also be configured to run on CNG or LPG. The most powerful engine is the new 3.2-litre Ford Duratorq TDCi I5 diesel delivering 147 kW (200 PS) and 470 Nm of torque.

As we said, the new Ford Ranger introduces the Ford 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission, tuned in order to deliver smooth, quick shifts almost imperceptibly to the driver. The new vehicle can also be fitted with the Ford MT82 six-speed manual transmission. The 2.5-litre petrol engine is offered standard with the proven Ford MT75 five-speed manualtransmission.
