Nissan revealed today the Invitation Concept, a new car that previews firm’s next mainstream B-segment contender, which will be sold alongside the Micra city car and innovative Juke crossover. Set to make its debut in March at the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, the new Invitation Concept features the same character line seen on other Nissan cars and called “Squash Line”. As you can see from the photos, the new Nissan Invitation Concept features sculpted front and rear wings but also an impressive interior with high levels of quality and purposeful technology features.
Nissan targets an ultra-low CO2 emission target of under 100g/km for the most frugal model and expects al version to wear its Pure Drive badge. According to Nissan, the new Invitation Concept carries some of the most advanced technology ever seen in the B-segment such as Around View Monitor (AVM) safety technology which makes reversing and parallel parking as stress-free as possible but also the Nissan Safety Shield Technologies, which interacts with the driving environment keeping the driver aware of what is happening around the car.
