Although I love the new Jeep Grand Cherokee it appears that the vehicle is not too safe. Why? A test performed by Swedish car magazine Teknikens Värld revealed a video today and showed the world that the Grand Cherokee was about to roll over in the moose test. The bad news is that the test was performed at 39.5 mph (63.5 km/h). And the bad news continue as the American manufacturer has not provided any explanation regarding the “performance” of the car. For those who don’t know, the moose test reveals how a vehicle’s active safety systems, such as traction control and anti-rollover system, work. According to Swedish car magazine Teknikens Värld’s Linus Pröjtz, such a behavior is totally unacceptable in 2012. Still, we will wait for Chrysler’s response before making any comments. You can see the video here. [source: teknikensvarld]
