Mazda will be presenting 10 different models at the 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon, one of which is the MX5 NR-A Jinba-Ittai. Mazda will be displaying modified versions of nearly all the models in its full lineup. The 2012 CX-5 crossover, in both standard and customized trims, will also be seen. This customized CX-5 is a special edition model that features a red exterior body color, matte black alloy wheels, and a ride height that’s a bit lower.
The other models that fans will be watching out for are the previously seen RX-8 Spirit R, the final iteration of the rotary-powered sports car, and the MX-5 Black-Tuned, a regular MX-5 that uses black-colored special features for the cabin as well as the exterior.
These include the BBS lightweight alloy wheels, Bilstein height adjustable dampers, Brembo brakes, and Recaro sports seats. The 2012 Tokyo Auto Salon will be open from January 13 to 15 at the Makuhari Messe Convention Center in Chiba prefecture. [source: MotorAuthority]
