Brabus has unveiled its new Sport package for the new Mercedes-Benz SLK R172, featuring various parts that range from the expected multi-spoke wheels to exhausts and even to its interior trim. Brabus installed an aero kit with two front spoiler lips that are placed on the left and right side of the production apron. The front also gets a new LED bar configuration, the side has new sills, while at the back there’s a new diffuser and boot spoiler.
The SLK was given a set of Brabus Monoblock wheels, available in sizes ranging from 17 to 20 inches, and offered as either a one piece or multi-piece design. Brabus suggests a set of high-performance tires from Continental, Pirelli or YOKOHAMA that’s sized 235/30 ZR20 on the front axle and 275/25 ZR20 at the rear.
The ride height could be lowered by 30 millimeters by fitting it with sport springs that work with Mercedes’ shocks. Its high-performance brakes are offered in numerous configurations too. Consumers may opt for the engine upgrades. The BRABUS ECO PowerXtra B20 CGI performance kit boosts the performance of the SLK 200 BlueEFFICIENCY with an additional 26hp. Meanwhile, the 250 is available with either 230hp rather than the stock 204, or 240hp. We don’t know yet what improvements were done to the SLK 350 but the anticipation among the fans is high.
