Nissan announced today that the 2012 Cube will carry a price tag of $14,980! For those who don’t know, the 2012 Nissan Cube is now in its fourth generation, continuing with its distinctive asymmetrical rear window, refrigerator-style rear door and more than 40 accessories to help buyers customize cube to their precise tastes and needs.
For the 2012 model year, the Nissan Cube received the new 1.8 S Indigo Limited Edition, which comes with Indigo seat color, Nissan Navigation System, RearView Monitor, Rockford Fosgate audio, Nissan Intelligent Key and 15-inch aluminum-alloy wheels. Moreover, the 2012MY Cube offers the Nissan Intelligent Key on the SL models, but also the front passenger seat armrest on S and SL models.
Five new colors are also offered for the 2012 model year: Pearl White, Brilliant Silver, Gun Metallic, Cayenne Red and Bali Blue. Each Nissan Cube is powered by the 1.8-liter DOHC 4-cylinder engine delivering 122 hp and mated to a 6-speed manual transmission as standard, while a Xtronic CVT gearbox is available as an option.
“Available cube technology includes the Nissan Intelligent Key with Push Button Ignition, Bluetooth Hands-free Phone System, Rockford Fosgate subwoofer with six upgraded speakers, XM Satellite Radio (XM subscription required, sold separately), RearView Monitor and Interface System for iPod. ” said the press release.
