2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports

This is the 2013 Toyota Auris Touring Sports, a wagon variant of the popular Auris that promises to be the first wagon in the segment available with a full hybrid powertrain. Unveiled today at the 2012 Paris Motor Show, the new Auris Touring Sports combines the versatility and dynamic design without compromising loadspace or luggage capacity. According to the official press release, the new Auris Touring Sports shares the same 2,600 mm wheelbase with the standard Auris but as expected it is 285 mm longer than the hatchback. This space is dedicated to the extended loadspace of the new wagon. The new Auris Touring Sports share the hatchback’s steeply raked windscreen, while the three-panel side glazing features blacked-out pillars, including a piano black finish to the B pillar. The rear end is completely new and fea tures a new bumper and tailgate, with the loadspace sill set 80 mm lower than that of the hatchback.
