Production of the Range Rover Evoque at Land Rover Halewood plant in Liverpool has started early this week. This crossover, which is available in either five-door or three-door variants, will be shipped to more than 170 countries worldwide. Hence, it will be a significant product for the British economy. According to Land Rover, more than 18,000 orders have been received for the Range Rover. It’s now expected to receive more orders internationally as the US market online configuration has been presented. It appears that Land Rover built two variants to appeal to various customers.
The coupe offers two individual rear seats but the customer could ask for the three-seat bench option. The Evoque five-door gets more appealing, especially to families, as it is made more practical. So that its passengers are accommodated well, its roofline is more than one inch higher than that of the coupe, providing more head and shoulder room for passengers on the rear seat. The all-new 2012 Range Rover Evoque is priced from $43,995 for the five-door while the coupe has a price tag of $44,995 for the coupe.
These prices are inclusive of destination and delivery charges. Land Rover has changed its equipment grade levels and now uses three defining design themes: Pure, Prestige and Dynamic. The company said that each theme holds a “distinct appeal” when it comes to “exterior styling, interior appointments and equipment specifications.” As a result, they provide the utmost level of on-board comfort, entertainment, convenience, and communications.
