2012 Renault Twingo Facelift will have a price tag of £10,350 in the UK

2012 Renault Twingo Facelift
UK pricing and specifications for Renault’s New Twingo have been announced before the model’s launch in February 2012. A price tag of £10,350 has been attached to the Dynamique 1.2 16V 75 version. This latest model from Renault has better styling and has a cheekier front end. It also gets the new Renault design identity, plus revised bumper, tailgate and new rear lights. All the new Twingos qualify for the Renault 4+ program valued at £900, to be launched on February 1.
This package consists of a comprehensive four-year/100,000 mile warranty, free routine servicing for four years/48,000 miles, four years roadside cover and up to four years finance (lease or PCP, subject to status). Just like the first-generation Twingo, the new model has an expressive, appealing front end and its dynamic, playful character is highlighted by its fog lights and round sidelights that have been placed next to the grille.
The headlights have ‘eyelids’, which add to its unique looks. Renault’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker said on its global debut in Frankfurt last year that the New Twingo’s “sensuous styling and seductive appeal” signify a return to Twingo’s original personality. The new Twingo is offered in warm, original new colors dubbed Fuchsia and Bermuda Blue, adding to the seven existing body colors. For the UK market, the New Twingo gets the 1.2 16V 75 engine, which returns 55.4 mpg in the combined cycle with a CO2 emissions level of 119g/km – making it qualify for the zero road fund license for the first year. It costs £30 starting on the second year.
At its world debut in Frankfurt last year, Renault’s Senior Vice President, Corporate Design, Laurens van den Acker said: “We have heightened New Twingo’s sensuous styling and seductive appeal, marking a return to Twingo’s original personality. We have also given the front end the brand’s new design identity which will be seen on all our new models.”
