Mopar showed us a preview of the Dodge Charger Juiced project before its scheduled launch at the 2012 SEMA Show. This is Mopar’s way of modernizing a custom street rod. The custom Charger Juiced comes with a Mopar V10 crate engine that’s also used on the Viper, offering a 650hp output. But due to the worries about carbon emissions, Mopar made the project eco-friendly and reduced its emissions level. Aside from the swapped engine, the project also gets a Mopar cold air intake and cat-back exhaust system. For suspension, it gets a Mopar lowering kit that provides the Charger with a lowered stance and improved handling ability. The charger’s exterior is refinished in a custom Metallic ‘Copperhead’ shade with matte black graphics to serve as contrast. Mopar gave the Charger its own chin spoiler and prototype hood. Meanwhile, the roof is painted with a shade darker than the exterior paint. Its appearance is enhanced further with 20-inch wheels trimmed in matte black with a ‘Copperhead’ stripe. The Charger’s interior gets black Katzkin leather seats with ‘Copperhead’ accents. All throughout the cabin, the two-tone matte black and ‘Copperhead’ theme can be observed.
