ARK Performance has built a Hyundai Veloster sport coupe concept that’s targeting those with an extreme sports alpine-enthusiast lifestyle. The concept has an interior that is finely built, using materials, design themes, and colors that suit an extreme winter sports lifestyle. The Veloster Alpine concept makes use of the original Veloster functional design elements but expands on them by installing a concealed third door and wide-opening rear hatch that features a persistent interior theme. JPM Coachworks built the interior environment with a mixture of Alcantara, fine Italian leather and WeatherTek breathable fabric. ARK selected these materials particularly because of how durable they are in wet environments, which include leather that keeps away mildew and a WeatherTek material frequently used in snow apparel.
