At the 2012 SEMA Show, Cosworth’s own Hyundai Genesis Coupe will be displayed alongside the ARK Performance Genesis Coupe. The rear-drive Genesis Coupe has an output of 389-hp and 325 lb-ft of torque. Nicole Armbrustmacher, director of marketing, Cosworth Americas said that this is a “great platform” to be used for its ultimate Cosworth Genesis Racing Series street model. Cosworth dubs this as the “Cosworth Genesis Racing Series.” It has kept the exterior upgrades subtle. The carbon fiber accessories on the new front bumper, rear diffuser and side skirts will be emphasized further with a custom blue shade. It will be getting custom wheels as well as a subtle trunk spoiler. Its performance will be enhanced further by its own intake and exhaust system with a retuned ECU. The interior will be getting numerous Cosworth items such as a special steering wheel, shift knob, pedals and a shift boot. The seats will get a two-tone treatment, which would probably match the blue exterior shade. Lastly, the car will be available with a new Cosworth suspension and bigger brakes.
