2013 Nissan Altima

Nissan Motor Co.’s 2013 models will feature the Easy-fill Tire Alert technology, which gives tire pressure warnings. Nissan launched this device on the redesigned 2011 Quest minivan. It was more than ten years ago since Ford’s rollover crashes have underscored the need for the tires to be inflated properly. The government had made a mandate that the vehicle should have tire-pressure-monitoring systems (TPMS). The system would alert the driver if the tire’s pressure decreases by 25% below the recommended inflation level. Unfortunately, many drivers don’t pay attention to the warnings. The most likely reason is that putting air to tires is a dirty job but then, it’s also difficult. A regular a pressure gauge is not handy. There are many types of monitoring systems. Some could turn on a warning light on the instrument panel when at least one tire is underinflated. The advanced systems will show off a readout of each car’s readout of every guest’s air pressure. Nissan's system oversees the individual readout step further and provides signals when the tire could reach its recommended pressure. No tire gauge is required. Each wheel has a pressure sensor on each wheel and it communicates with a body-control computer. When the tire is getting air, the car’s parking lights flash three times to let you know the system is active.
