Lexus has released the pricing information for the 2013 LX 570 luxury utility vehicle, which will arrive at dealerships in early February. It comes with aggressive new styling, interior modifications, advanced technology and amazing off-road capabilities. The LX has a price tag of $80,930, which is $1,475 or 1.9% higher than the previous model. This excludes a delivery, processing and handling fee of $875. The front and rear of the 2013 LX 570 have a new appearance. Its look is further enhanced with the Lexus spindle grille. The headlamp design has been updated and is complemented with new LED daytime running lights and new larger fog lamp bezels.
The taillamps were also improved. Meanwhile, the look of the rear license plate surround was changed and the tow hitch cover is more integrated. The front and rear bumpers have been refreshed and a chrome accent enhances the rear bumper protector. The side mirrors have the turn signals while the bodyside moldings are wider and have a fresh look. Powering the LX 570 is an advanced 5.7-liter V8, four cams, and four valves per cylinder engine with dual Variable Valve Timing with intelligence (VVT-i). With an output of 383hp and 403 lb.-ft. of torque, the engine could handle challenging tasks with incredible smoothness.
The LX has an enhanced Crawl Control feature that offers maximum throttle and brake modulation when driven over rough, uneven or challenging surfaces. How the new Turn Assist feature works is that it tightens turning circles by getting more brake force to the inside rear wheel. With the new Multi-terrain Select, the driver could optimize performance by selecting from five types of terrain settings. The LX interior has been given a new multimedia system (with available next-generation Lexus Enform). It also has a color TFT multi-information display, better front seat cooling, easy access for the driver’s seat, and a power outlet for the middle row and distinctive trims and accents.
