The 2012 Australian International Motor Show will be where the refreshed Mazda CX-9 crossover SUV will debut. The show, which is in Sydney, will open on October 18 and will continue until October 28. Later this year, the 2013 CX-9 will be launched in Australia. Mazda CX-9 is a crossover sport-utility SUV that has a unique sporty looks with its high-quality cabin, flexible three-rows, and Mazda's Zoom-Zoom" driving dynamics. The current CX-9 has reached worldwide sales of 210,000 units in 74 countries, including North America and Australia, as Mazda's top-of-the-line SUV. The 2013 Mazda CX-9 still has the practicality and dynamic driving performance of the current model while having Mazda's "KODO - Soul of Motion" design theme at the front and rear to have a sportier styling and stronger presence. Improvements in craftsmanship and interior design enhance further the feeling of quality and refinement. Its infotainment system has the newest audio, navigation and speech-recognition systems based on the Human Machine Interface (HMI) which is intuitive to use. Furthermore, it has, advanced active-safety features like Forward Obstruction Warning System, Lane Departure Warning System, and High Beam Control System, that assist drivers to know when a danger is coming and how to prevent it. Just like the existing model, the 2013 CX-9 is powered by the MZI 3.7-liter V6 engine and a six-speed automatic transmission for powerful and refined driving pleasure.
