Mercedes-Benz is now accepting orders for the innovative CLS Shooting Brake five-door coupe. The CLS Shooting Brake, which features a roof that runs through the rear, boasts of providing a new sense of luxury with its very distinct designo wooden luggage compartment floor, which highlights the hand-finished nature of the interior. The luggage compartment floor of the CLS Shooting Brake is made of American cherry tree wood with selected veneer sheets that are glued and hand-pressed in five cross-bonded layers to achieve high dimensional stability. The CLS Shooting Brake also features as standard rear seat backrests that can be folded down from the luggage compartment.

The rear seats also provide individual seats on the outsides and a third seat in the middle. A customer could avail of an optional folding trailer coupling for the CLS Shooting Brake. The base version for the Shooting Brake range is the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY, which could be availed for a price of €61,761. CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY could produce up to 150 kW (204 hp) of power and has a combined fuel consumption of 5.3 litres of diesel per 100 kilometres and CO2 emissions of 139 grams per kilometre.

Next to the CLS 250 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY are two six-cylinder models: the CLS 350 CDI BlueEFFICIENCY that could produce up to 195 kW (265 hp) of power for a price of €65,628.50; and the CLS 350 BlueEFFICIENCY that could produce up to 225 kW (306 hp) of power for a cost of €66,818.50. The CLS 500 BlueEFFICIENCY model, which V8 biturbo engine could produce 300 kW (408 hp) of power, is available at €82,229. The CLS Shooting Brake is also available in two all-wheel drive models: the CLS 350 CDI 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY at €68,365.50, and the CLS 500 4MATIC BlueEFFICIENCY at €84,966. The CLS 63 AMG Shooting Brake starts at €117,512.50.
