Nissan North America said that the 2013 Nissan Sentra will be based on the all-new global sedan. Together with this announcement, teaser video clips and images of the 2013 Sentra SR were released. Later this summer, the all-new Sentra will be introduced in the U.S. and will start selling in the fall. Brian Carolin, senior vice president, Sales and Marketing of NNA, said that Sentra is the third of a total of five new core models that will be presented in a 15-month period. He said that sales of the all-new Altima will start this summer and will be trailed by the new Pathfinder and Sentra. By the time of the launch of the upcoming two new models in 2013, the company would have freshened up 75% of its volume. This gives loyal customers a treat as well as entices more people to enter Nissan’s showrooms. The launch of the all-new 2013 Sentra coincides with the 30th anniversary of the brand in the U.S., giving consumers a taste of the refinement and innovation that it offers in the segment. More details about the Sentra are expected this summer.
