The latest Fast and the Furious movie will feature the 2013 Subaru BRZ. The rear-drive sports car made quite an impression at the Motor Trend’s World’s Greatest Drag Race 2. There are reports that Subaru has given as many as five BRZs to the “Fast and the Furious 6” crew. It’s probable that at least one will get a full Fast and Furious garb, which includes a full body kit, upgraded wheels, and a lowered suspension. The main revisions are found under the hood. Even if the stock 2013 BRZ delivers 200 hp and 151 lb-ft from a 2.0-liter I-4, a turbocharger or a supercharger would surely improve the car’s record from its tested 0-60mph acceleration time of 6.4 seconds with a six-speed manual transmission. In addition, it’s rumored that Fast Six cars such as the BRZ may be featured together with actors like Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson who started in the most recent Fast and Furious movie. There may even be a cameo role for Jason Statham, who was seen in “The Transporter” movies driving big Audi sedans. It probably won’t only be the Subaru BRZ that would keep us interested. In the last Fast and Furious movie last year, actor Tyrese Gibson said that he was so impressed with the Dodge Charger police vehicles that he is seriously considering a Charger as his next vehicle.
