Abarth 500 R3T to make its debut in the Sanremo Rally

The 51st edition of the Sanremo Rally will see the brand new Abarth 500 R3T, a new rally car based on the popular Fiat 500. The new vehicle will enter the Group R3T and will carry a 1368 cm3 engine with a Garrett GT1446a fixed geometry turbocharger capable to deliver an impressive 180 hp (132 kW) at 5500 rpm and 300 Nm at 3000 rpm.
The engine will be connected to a 6-speed sequential gearbox with multiplate self-locking differential, with adjustable suspension system, adjustable racing shock-absorbers and 7” x 17” OZ asphalt rims. Also, a new Brembo braking system was installed as well as a welded roll-bar and the FIA type-approved seats with 6 seat belt anchorage points. Photo gallery after the jump!
