Abarth 695 Fuori Serie

Fiat will introduce the Fuori Serie, a new personalisation service based on the Abarth 695, at the Paris Motor Show. The Fuori Serie programme, which means special production, will enable customers to seek advice from Abarth designers, engineers and mechanics for the customization of nearly all aspects of the car. Fiat has made two versions so that buyers could be guided in their selections. There are several customization options that will be offered. These include more paint finishes and decals, some carbonfibre trim pieces, sports seats, racing pedals and a Harman JBL audio system. The Fuori Serie is based on the Abarth 695 that was used for the Tributo Ferrari and Tributo Maserati special editions. It is equipped with the same 178bhp 1.4-litre turbo four-cylinder, partnered with the “Abarth Competizione” automated manual gearbox, and together with the paddle shifters on the steering wheel. With these features, the 695 can accelerate from zero to 62mph in under seven seconds and reach a top speed of 140mph. Just like the previous versions of the Abarth 695, the Fuori Serie cars make use of MacPherson strut front and torsion beam rear suspension. What’s found at the back of the distinctive 17-inch aluminium alloy wheels are perforated Bremo brake discs (305mm front, 240mm rear).
