Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse to be present at 2008 Race of Champions

As announced by Abarth just lately, the Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse will be showcased at the 2008 Race of Champions this coming December 14 at the Wembley Stadium. The Assetto Corse will compete in the celebrity event by Frank Bruno, David Haye, Enzo Maccarinelli and Amir Khan. Likewise the Assetto Corse will be driven by Olympic cycle champ Chris Hoy, TV chef James Martin, singer Shayne Ward and Arsenal footballer Bacary Sagna. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse which comes with 190 hp has only a limited production of 49 cars and includes a total racing modification. It comes with a broader track, racing wheels that are 17-inches and are uniquely ultralight, a reduced ride height and a set of sporty racing mirrors. The Abarth Fiat 500 Assetto Corse is also fitted with a roll-cage authorized for competition, sports seats, racing steering wheel and door panels from carbon.
