Unveiled today was the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI program, probably the first version of the new model. The car’s performance has been upgraded and styling modifications have been made. The car comes with two power levels. You can take the 2.0 TSI engine to either 260 hp or 300 hp. The standard GTI develops 210 hp.

The first level of power of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI is achieved through a re-programmed ECU; however, the second one comes with an upgraded turbocharger. The 300 hp version of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.0 seconds and comes equipped with a 30 millimeters lower suspension and upgraded brakes. The aerodynamics package of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI includes a new rear bumper and spoiler attachment, side skirts, a new front grill and apron and a new 4-pipe exhaust system. The interior of the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI features a variety of new accents. The price for the ABT Volkswagen Golf VI GTI has not been announced yet. Photo gallery after the jump!
