A new Acura crossover under heavy camouflage has been seen testing at Nurburgring in advance of it anticipated introduction in just a matter of weeks at the New York Auto Show, a clear sign that it is currently in the works. It appears somewhat like an Acura interpretation of the BMW X6 sports activity vehicle concept, with almost identical roofline and an obvious four-door setup. Current teasers consist of five photos taken from different perspectives. The car is going to be dubbed the MSX and it will reach production trim in 2010 as a 2011 model. It will be derived on the present MDX SUV but will come with the more potent Acura 3.7-liter V6 that can generate 300hp and also a 6-speed auto transmission. It will be priced and positioned above the MDX which signify that it will come with a price tag between $42,000 and $49,000. It looks like Acura has confidence in BMW's winning formula with the controversial X6 styling. [source insideline]
