Alfa Romeo MiTo by Novitec
Although Novitec is specialized in high-end sports cars, the tuning company revealed today its new program for the Alfa Romeo MiTo. When we speak about tuning it's obvious that this include a power increase and this is what Novitec did: the 1.4-liter turbocharged gasoline engine received a power increase of 31 hp (23 kW) and 30 Nm of torque. With a total output of 186 hp (137 kW) the car sprints from zero to 100 km/h in just 7.4 seconds, which is with 0.7 seconds faster than the standard model.
Novitec also upgrades the diesel engines: with the help of Powerrail 5 module, the 1.3 JTD engine is upgraded from 90 hp (66 kW) to 110 hp (81 kW) while the 1.6 JTD receives an additional 24 hp (17.7 kW) and 50 Nm of torque. Novitec didn't stop here!
The MiTo comes also with new accessories such as spoiler corners left and right plus a centrally mounted cup spoiler, new side sills, a new rear roof spoiler and a new diffuser for the rear apron featuring new integrated Novitec sport rear muffler with one, two or four tailpipes. The kit is completed by the 18 inch Novitec N8 multi-spoke wheels fitted with Pirelli high-performance tires in size 215/35 R 18. Also, for better handling, the vehicle was lowered with up to 40 millimeters with the help of a new set of sport springs.
