Loyal Suzuki car and motorcycle fans and enthusiasts across the United Kingdom and overseas will be gathering at Finmere Airfield near Buckingham on August 19, 2012, to take part in Suzuki Day 2012. The event will be held simultaneously with a wide range of exhibits at the Milton Keynes Car show. Suzuki Day 2012 is a consolidation of all the Suzuki Clubs across the UK as well as some owners from abroad. More than 2,600 cars as well as 350 motorcycles have registered to attend to event, and the list is still open for late entries. Suzuki GB PLC will be showcasing its car ranges as well as a selection from its latest motorcycle and ATV ranges. Suzuki will also be showcasing the SC100 ‘Whizzkid’ from 1982, as well as the iconic 2003 BBC Top Gear Liana ‘Reasonably Priced Car.’ Suzuki car and motorcycle owners participating in the event will also have a chance to level up their units with the new merchandising range that will be available at the venue. Suzuki 2012 will also mark the official public launch of ‘Heaven can wait, I’m busy’ global expedition. The expedition will be made by dedicated Suzuki Jimny owners travelling over 20,000 miles around the world in aid of the “Save The Children” charity. The team will kick off the expedition in April 2013.
